Retention and deletion of TRAILFLOW recordings and evidence stored locally or in customer-controlled storage are determined by the user or organisation controlling that storage. Uninstalling TRAILFLOW software does not necessarily delete evidence stored outside the application package.

TRAILFLOW includes integrity mechanisms intended to support verification of recorded evidence. Customers remain responsible for access controls, storage security, and appropriate handling of locally stored recordings.
